My mom just got diagnosed. Doc says it’s early stage. She can still reason and think properly, just forgets a lot. Now she wants to do her will because she fears her mind will only deteriorate from here. Can she do it? Are there lawyers who specialise in wills for people with early dementia in Singapore? Any recommendation is appreciated. Thanks much.

I am so sorry to hear about this difficult situation. As long as your mom understands what she is doing, she will likely be able to make a will and it should be done soon. An estate or elder law attorney should be able to advise you in Singapore
