The LPA is a legal instrument which allows a person who is at least 21 years of age ('donor'), to voluntarily appoint one or more persons ('donee(s)') to make decisions and act on his/her behalf should he/she lose mental capacity one day. A donee can be appointed to act in the two broad areas of personal welfare and/or property & affairs matters.
To encourage more Singaporeans to plan ahead and apply for an LPA, the Office of Public Guardians has extended the LPA Form 1 application fee waiver for Singapore Citizens to 31st March 2026. Please refer to the latest LPA Fees Table by the Ministry of Social and Family Development here.
Once you have drafted your LPA online and the donee has accepted the appointment, you will need to pay a professional fee to engage an LPA Certificate Issuer for witnessing and certifying their LPA. Here at Ninkatec, our doctors are accredited Certificate Issuers and are here to assist you with this step in the comfort of your home.
Please view our fees for witnessing and certifying your LPA and other home care services here, or simply contact us with your enquiry.
