Someone in my family have relapsed and advanced cancer. She confides to some of us that she's thinking of planning for her final days when she still can, to take the burden off us when the time comes. We don't have experience and this isn’t common in Singapore so I would love to learn from forum members who have gone through cancer care for a loved one through the final stage.
What do I need to know for our own planning? Practical stuff please, besides doing a will and inheritance planning - these have been taken care of. I found an article talking about living funeral, this seems too radical for us https://www.channelnewsasia.com/commentary/living-funeral-death-terminal-illness-cancer-patient-family-friends-4245201
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated. Thanks much.
