Anyone encounter the patient pulling out their own catheter? What do you do to keep it in place without restraining (male patient)?

Depends on why the patient needs catheter in the first place. I encountered before, the cause was delirium. When that was treated, no more pulling. Best find out what causes it to address. Hope this helps.

Thanks, that’s really helpful. I’ll look more into what might be triggering it in this case and see if addressing that helps reduce the pulling. Appreciate you sharing your experience!
